The cottage is attached to the owner's house, who is very friendly. The cottage matches the description: 3 large bedrooms, a large kitchen, an outdoor area for dining, equipped with plancha/barbecue. There is also a garden lounge and a hammock in the shade. We have access to the pool, which is a good size. 1 point of improvement in my opinion: The bathroom is quite small with only 1 shower, and the toilet is not separate. (which is quite problematic for a family of 5).

Great hosts and a perfect setting with wonderful views of the landscape and sunsets. Great pool and the location is and ideal base for exploring some of the lovely Dordogne towns and villages. Local amenities are close enough too so you feel the tranquility of being cut off from a busy life but not far from essential amenities.

Bernard is a fantastic host, he will do everything to make you feel comfortable and has a heart of gold. PS: There is a company that manages bookings for Bernard (the host), but it is he who takes care of you on-site since he lives in the house right next door.
