We were a bit surprised as I overlooked

We were a bit surprised as I overlooked that check-in was only possible until 7 PM. As we arrived more than an hour late, we suddenly had to pay a deposit plus €20, which turned out to be a misunderstanding on the host's part – even though the key was already placed in a key box and no one had to wait for us. The apartment itself was easy to find, very cozily furnished, and we hardly heard any street noise, just a bit in the morning, but it wasn't disturbing. At first glance, everything looked clean, but after a short time of walking barefoot, we had black feet, so it seems the floor hadn't been cleaned in a while. Apart from that, we were satisfied with our stay.
